THE HISTORY OF
RAYE FREEDMAN ARTS CENTRE

The Raye Freedman Arts Centre is the home of the highly regarded Music and Drama programmes of Epsom Girls Grammar School (EGGS). The Centre is named after Raye Freedman, our generous benefactor whose charitable trust continues to support the on-going development of the venue and its resources. The Auditorium bears the name of a former EGGS student and supporter, Lady Joyce Fisher. Since its beginning in 2005, RFAC has become the venue of choice for a wide range of clients who enjoy the excellence of the facility and the quality of well-maintained, up to date equipment and resources. The RFAC staff adopt a supportive and flexible approach to the requirements of our clients and hirers. We work with you, to ensure the success of your event and the pleasure enjoyment of your audience.

Built in partnership with Auckland Council, The Raye Freedman Arts Centre is designed and equipped to the highest standards for use by the school and a wider community of professional performing artists, businesses and community organisations.
