THE RAYE FREEDMAN ARTS CENTRE IS LOCATED ON THE CORNER OF GILLIES AVENUE (NEWMARKET END) AND SILVER ROAD IN EPSOM.

TRAVELLING BY CAR

If approaching from the North on the Motorway, take the Gillies Avenue exit then take a right turn into Gillies Avenue. Silver Road is the second street on the left and RFAC is on the corner. If approaching from the South on the motorway the best exit is Market Road. Turn left then right into Great South Road. Cross Manukau Road into Alpers Avenue, then turn left into Gillies Avenue and left again into Silver Road.

PARKING

We recommend that you arrive early and park in Sharpe Road, Owens Road or Albury Avenue (Please refer to map). Free parking is available on weekends and after 3.30pm on school days. Please note however that parking is not exclusive to RFAC patrons as it is shared by other visitors to the school.

BUSES & TRAINS

RFAC is a pleasant 15 minute walk from Newmarket Train Station. Both the inner and outer city link buses stop in Newmarket shopping centre, which is a 5 – 10 minute walk from the Raye Freedman Arts Centre.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

The Arts Centre is designed to ensure easy access for everyone. A ramp at the front of the venue leads directly to the main doors. From here, we recommend that those requiring assistance talk to the Front of House Manager, who will direct you to an elevator to take you up to the main doors of the auditorium. Here, there is appropriate space and seating requirements for everyone. Where ever you are seated in RFAC there are excellent sight-lines. Enquiries prior to performances can be directed to the Theatre Manager on (09) 970 6800.
