Epsom Girls Grammar School and Auckland Grammar School proudly present Les Misérables School Edition, the globally celebrated, Tony Award-winning musical based on Victor Hugo’s timeless novel.

Set in 19th century France, this powerful story follows Jean Valjean, a man imprisoned for 19 years after stealing a loaf of bread to feed his family. Upon his release, he struggles to rebuild his life while being relentlessly pursued by Inspector Javert. Along the way, Valjean finds hope and purpose through his love and care for the orphan Cosette.

Against the backdrop of revolutionary Paris, the production brings to life the passion and sacrifice of young rebels fighting for justice on the barricades. With its unforgettable score and deeply moving narrative, Les Misérables is a story of love, courage, and redemption that continues to inspire audiences around the world.
