The Raye Freedman Arts Centre is incredibly excited to announce that we will be hosting a special screening of, EGGS old-girl, Louise Lever’s feature documentary “Revolt She Said”, followed by an exclusive Q&A session.

Where is the real progress in feminism? This is the central question of the film. Featuring interviews with inspiring Kiwi and Australian women, trans men and women, and non-binary people. You’ll hear from Former Prime Minister of NZ Helen Clark, Alison Mau, Lizzie Marvelly, Courtney Sina Meredith, Aborginal leader Dr. Jackie Huggins, Dr. Pani Farvid, and Quinn Eades. The film also contains an endearing and powerful coming out section from the Queer community and explores the hidden dimensions of gender and why women are still seen as the secondary gender and most importantly, what’s next!
